First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people, 2 for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way.

Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people.

• National repentance and spiritual awakening

• Humility among God’s people

• Wisdom and integrity for leaders

• Justice, righteousness, and truth

• Unity where there is division

• Gospel advance across the country

What kind of nation would exist if the Church fully obeyed Jesus?

“You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. 15 Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. 16 In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.

• Peace and flourishing in our city

• Protection over families, schools, and first responders

• The vulnerable, hurting, and overlooked

• Unity among churches and pastors

• Spiritual awakening in neighborhoods

• That believers would shine as light

Where in our city is darkness most visible — and how can we be light?

And if it is evil in your eyes to serve the Lord, choose this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your fathers served in the region beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”

And he will turn the hearts of fathers to their children and the hearts of children to their fathers, lest I come and strike the land with a decree of utter destruction.”

• Strong, Christ-centered marriages

• Healing in broken relationships

• Children to love and follow the Lord

• Prodigals to return home

• Protection from division and distraction

• A legacy of faith for generations

What legacy of faith are we building in our homes?

And now, Lord, look upon their threats and grant to your servants to continue to speak your word with all boldness, 30 while you stretch out your hand to heal, and signs and wonders are performed through the name of your holy servant Jesus.” 31 And when they had prayed, the place in which they were gathered together was shaken, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and continued to speak the word of God with boldness.

If God answered every prayer for our church, what would change?

Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; 38 therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.”

3 At the same time, pray also for us, that God may open to us a door for the word, to declare the mystery of Christ, on account of which I am in prison— 4 that I may make it clear, which is how I ought to speak. 5 Walk in wisdom toward outsiders, making the best use of the time. 6 Let your speech always be gracious, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how you ought to answer each person.

• Open doors for gospel conversations

• Specific neighbors by name

• Local schools, businesses, and leaders

• Compassionate action toward real needs

• Workers for the harvest

• Revival that transforms hearts and streets

Who in my daily life needs Jesus — and am I willing to be sent?
